Energy efficiency is often seen as the less glamourous cousin of renewable energy. But the fact is that in efforts to mitigate climate change, improving energy efficiency is by far the quickest and cheapest solution. Simple measures such as insulating a home or using more efficient light bulbs will directly reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. Bringing this message across is the goal of EE Global 2009, a two-day event being held in Paris on April 27-29, where a wide range of global players in energy efficiency industry will gather to exchange latest technical developments and discuss how to accelerate the market.
The previous EE Global event held in Washington in 2007 was a huge success, attracting more than 800 attendees from 32 countries. This year’s event will be the premiere event for the energy efficiency sector in 2009 and is very much worth attending.
