This year’s international Energy Globe television gala will serve as the opening event for the informal meeting of the EU environment ministers on 14 April 2009 in Prague.

Political VIPs from around the world will meet at the gala event in the realm of the Czech EU presidency: Prime Minister of the Czech Republic and EU Council President Mirek Topolanék, EU Environment Commissioner Stavros Dimas, Czech Vice-Premier and Environment Minister Martin Bursík, and the environment ministers of the EU, EFTA and the new EU membership candidate nations. ClimateClimate is typically defined as the average weather (or more rigorously a statistical description of the average in terms of the mean and variability) over a period of time, usually 30 years. These quantities are most often surface variables such as temperature, precipitation, and wind. Climate ... expert Carol Browner will represent US President Barack Obama. Dr. R. K. Pachauri, head of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will also attend. International show stars will complement the program, which will be broadcast worldwide.

As every year I expect an exciting event where the best projects in the categories “earth, fire, water, air and youth”  as well as the World Award winner will be premiered. Last year this was a very interesting opportunity to meet project-developers and high-level-officials of several countries and I am looking forward to this years gala.
