This years Energy Efficiency Conference “EE-Global 2009” will take place end of April in Paris and Dr. Marianne Osterkorn, Director of REEEP will moderate one of the executive sessions about “Energy Efficiency and Renewables: Competing or Complementary Technologies”. Often renewable energy technologies receive greater policy support than do energy-efficiency technologies therefore this session will feature a discussion of why and how policies need to support them both.

Upfront to this event, Director of Development at the Alliance to Save Energy Chuck Wilson interviewed Dr. Marianne Osterkorn to give you an overview about the main topics that will be discussed during this session.
